PIN SEEKERS GOLF CLUB (PSG)

Official Rules & Policies – 2026 Season

Fort Wayne, Indiana • Established 2011


1. Purpose

Pin Seekers Golf Club (PSG) exists to provide a fun, competitive, and fair golf experience for amateur golfers in the Fort Wayne area.

All members are expected to compete with honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship.


2. Eligibility

  • Open to amateur golfers.
  • Players must be registered members of PSG.
  • All players are welcome regardless of handicap.

3. Flights

  • Tiger Woods Flight
  • Calvin Peete Flight
  • Harold Varner Flight

Flight assignments are established before the start of each season. Existing members remain in their assigned flight throughout the season.

New members may have their flight assignment adjusted during the season based on performance.


4. Tee Assignments

Tee box assignments and any modified holes will be explained prior to the start of play and identified on the official event scorecards.

All players must play from the designated tees assigned for that event.


5. Scoring Format

  • No mulligans.
  • Players must hole out all putts.
  • Every stroke counts.
  • USGA Rules apply unless modified by PSG local rules.

6. Lost Balls & Out of Bounds

All lost balls and out-of-bounds shots will be played as a lateral hazard.

  • One-stroke penalty.
  • Drop where the ball entered the out-of-play area.
  • No returning to the tee.

7. Maximum Score Per Hole

Tiger Woods Flight

  • Play your score.
  • No maximum score.
  • Every stroke counts.

Calvin Peete Flight

  • Maximum Score = Double Par + 1
  • Par 3 = 7
  • Par 4 = 9
  • Par 5 = 11

Harold Varner Flight

  • Maximum Score = Double Par
  • Par 3 = 6
  • Par 4 = 8
  • Par 5 = 10

8. Score Verification

Each group must maintain two scoring records during play:

  • One player keeps score using Scrolf Live Scoring.
  • One player keeps score on the official PSG scorecard.

At the conclusion of the round:

  • Scrolf scores and the official scorecard must be compared and verified.
  • Any discrepancies must be resolved before submission.
  • All players in the group must review and sign the official scorecard.
  • The signed scorecard must be submitted to PSG leadership.

The signed scorecard is the official record of the round.


9. Tiebreakers

First Place Ties

Ties for first place will be broken using a scorecard playoff beginning with the course's #1 handicap hole and continuing in order of difficulty until a winner is determined.

  • Tiebreaker winner receives 1st Place points.
  • Other player receives 2nd Place points.
  • Tiebreaker winner is recognized as the official event champion.

Second Place and Below

Ties for second place and all remaining positions will result in points being split equally among tied players.


10. Flight Promotions

  • Harold Varner Flight Champion is promoted to the Calvin Peete Flight the following season.
  • Calvin Peete Flight Champion is promoted to the Tiger Woods Flight the following season.

11. Sportsmanship

Players are expected to play honestly, respect fellow competitors, respect golf course staff, and uphold the integrity of PSG competition.

Cheating, falsifying scores, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties, disqualification, suspension, or removal from PSG.


12. Final Authority

Questions regarding rules, scoring, flight assignments, eligibility, or tournament administration shall be decided by PSG leadership.

All decisions are final.
